Graduating from Newcastle Dental School in 2011, Dr Mahdi brings a wealth of experience and expertise to Fernleigh Dental Practice. With a background in head and neck surgery and all dental specialties, she spent the initial years of her career practicing in dental and general hospitals before transitioning to general dentistry. With a keen interest in aesthetic dentistry, Dr Mahdi finds joy in smile design, composite bonding, Invisalign, crown work, and creating realistic, aesthetic white fillings.

Joining Fernleigh Dental in 2021, Dr Mahdi is known for her compassionate approach, particularly when working with children and nervous patients. With a special focus on treating children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and adults with mental health issues, she goes above and beyond to ensure every patient feels comfortable and cared for.

When not transforming smiles at the clinic, Dr Mahdi enjoys family time with her husband and their two boys in Haringey. From renovating their Edwardian house to building Lego and exploring museums, they create unforgettable memories. In moments of solitude, She indulges in the art of pottery – a true testament to their creativity and passion outside the dental world.
